I too heard Kinglets today (at Grant Park in So. Milwaukee.) It is warmer, but I'm so surprised they're finding enough food! Betsy Abert, So. There were 4-5 of them flitting among some coniferous trees and they were soon joined by several vocal chickadees. All of the birds seemed to be finding something to eat. The yacht club is still frozen over. I thought at least the Nock St docks would have open water today, but alas. Maybe tomorrow. Iron street may take several more days.
