This morning at 7am I found a KENTUCKY WARBLER on the NE end of Blue Mounds State Park. It was located along Mounds Park Rd. about 0.2mi N of the intersection with Ryan Rd. After hearing the Kentucky sing for about 30 seconds it flew out into the open and gave me some great looks for about a minute before flying to the east side of the road. At the top of Blue Mound there were two singing HOODED WARBLERS. One was located just south of the east lookout tower, and the other was located north of the west lookout tower. I was able to watch the Hooded at the west lookout tower for a few minutes as it sang from a tree about 30 feet away. When I left the part at 9am the Kentucky was still singing along Mounds Park Rd, and I heard what I think was another Hooded warbler singing about 0.5mi N of the intersection with Ryan Rd. The possible Hooded was singing a bit too far to the east of the road for me to be positive on the ID.
