I did not arrive to the spots Pat mentioned until after 11 A.M. today and all
the ibises were out of view by then. It seems the last reports on eBird (so
far) were from 10:15 A.M., so maybe early birders get the bird! Possibly the
wind that developed during the morning kept them out of view. I saw Pat by the
DM+I pond and he told me that a large truck had caused them to fly to the south.
I also checked Harvey Road pond and Wangsness Rd. pond and didn’t see any
there, but they can be elusive when they are near grass or cattails.
