Hi all, I went out to Bender Park in Oak Creek (southern Milwaukee County) tonight, for 15 minutes today, and I saw a bird I just can't ID. It was about the size of a cowbird or just a little smaller, with a warbler type beak. My first guess was an immature bay breasted warbler, but I am not so sure. When I looked in my field guide I most closely ID'd it to a Backman's warbler, but since no one has seen one since 1965, I am guessing that I am wrong on that one too. Let's see what you guys come up with.
