Tanager Hybrid? Hello all! Once again I need to call upon wisbirders to figure what the heck I was looking at today. I was birding at Wyalusing SP today and I was just leaving the boat landing when I found this bird right next to the road. I know its a tanager of some kind, probably a Scarlet Tanager. But what I had to ask myself is "Is this some kind of hybrid?". The bird obviously has patches of red on it, as well as alot of yellow. What really throws me off is the amount of gray/brown on the back of its head. Any help is greatly appreciated. http://s652.photobucket.com/albums/uu241/starkdude/?action=view¤t=CSC_0040.jpg Thanks, Alex Stark, Prairie du Chien #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
