I swung past the Hwy 60/Harvey Rd spot this a.m. on my to try for the Pac. Loon (got it-thanks to Peter Fissel , Nolan Pope & Jim Schwartz). I did not see the Franklin's Gull. Only one Gull was there, a Ring Bill. Schoenberg Marsh had a dozen Bonaparte's Gulls, & a few Yellow Headed Blackbirds. & a skunk wandering around. Harvey/Wangness had the ROSS' GOOSE easily visible with bins on the far east side of the pond area. There were 6 Pectoral Sandpipers this morning near the Ross' as well. On Harvey Rd, to the east side of the road at DM/Wangness there were 3 Greater White Fronted Geese. To the west side there was a lone Greater Yellow Legs. Goose Ponds had a few divers & one Com./Wilson's Snipe very near the road. I checked DM just east of the Harvey Ponds & whiffed there too. Steve Mullen, Mully from Monty on Pops computee....Good Luck & we're all counting on You ! There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature - the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after the winter." -Rachel Carson #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
