This fall we had a record number of hummingbirds buzzing around our feeders.
We counted 8 at one time. They were zipping in and out like angry yellow
jackets (and we have a few of those as well). We left Friday to watch hawks
at Hawk Ridge. Sunday morning, there were only two left. Things are so quiet
now. We're hoping for more migrants.
