Back at the end of December I saw a large (150) mixed flock of snow
Buntings and longspurs along Hwy JJ just east of the Lone Rock airport. If
we get some good snow this weekend they will move out of the fields and on
to the roadsides. Look for large flocks flying over the ag fields. You're
in the right area. Good luck! Please post if you see any!

end of Porter Rd. (near Mercer Rd.). I checked Mercer Rd. later and had a
much better look through binoculars at one more. No Snow buntings yet. Does
anyone know of a spot near Sauk County where there are Snow buntings or
