Horicon marsh bird club program this Thursday Feb 21 7PM at the
Horicon Marsh International Education Center Located between Horicon
and Mayville on Hwy 28.
Join Horicon Marsh Bird president Jeff Bahls and Suzanne Roth as they
tell of their recent trip to Egypt. While not necessarily a "birding"
trip, birds did play an important of part of ancient Egyptian culture,
even their alphabet contains birds. You'll see a mixture of modern
birds along with ancient ones, scribed into temples that are thousands
of years old. Learn a little bit about Egyptian culture and the
changes that are taking place today. No story about Egypt would be
complete without stories about Pyramids, Pharaohs and the Nile River
