Hey all, Libby Zeman and I worked for 8 1/2 hours today at Eagle Valley Nature Preserve. With the North winds today migration was definetly fun to watch. Today was the first major push of Broad-wings in Southwest Wisconsin going from 11-20 birds a day over the past 3 days to 174 birds today! Sharp-shinned Hawk numbers stayed generally the same...amounts of birds are expected to climb. Here are some numbers for ya! Turkey Vulture: 14 Osprey: 7 Bald Eagle: 14 Sharp-shinned Hawk: 23 Cooper's Hawk: 1 Red-tailed Hawk: 2 Broad-winged Hawk: 174 American Kestrel: 1 Peregrine Falcon: 1 Good Birding, Alex Stark, Glen Haven, Grant Co. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
