We Met Bev Dunk at Fox River Park this afternoon.
There were not great numbers of birds,But what we saw were great. north west of
the pond we saw a black and white warbler , butter butts, a spectacular blue
gray gnatcatcher, and a FOY handsome great crested flycatcher.
We also witnessed 2 red tail hawks hook talons and spiral/ tumble down right
into a tree by us. When they hit the branches, they broke apart. What a sight!
We also witnessed a black squirrel sunbathing on a tree limb.
We started out our trip with two adult bald eagles flying over head at Hwy 16 &
P in Oconomowoc. What an afternoon!
