Hi Peter - please fwd to wisbirdnet, thanks!
Barb and I took a short Easter Sunday drive just north of Madison. There were
5 Northern Harriers in this area last week.   We didn't see Harriers this
time or the reported Avocet but an Osprey and TVs cruised over and we enjoyed a
nice variety of other birds including a Greater Yellowlegs that walked right in
front of us, Wilsons Snipe winnowing above the mudflats, a couple bunches of
Ring-necked Ducks, several Bonaparte's swooping around with some Swallows, and
two male Ruddies popped out with bright blue bills.
