Hi all! Spring is happening: Looked out the window at Lake Kegonsa this morning (north side) and 5+ Hooded Mergansers diving and cruising by. The Lake *is open* in the mid-section on the north side in addition to where the Yahara enters and exits. Variety of waterfowl - 3-4 Loons - at least 1 calling a lot Pied-billed, and maybe 1 Eared ? at the Township Landing Two Pelicans over 1 pr Wood Ducks 1 pr Pintail many Canvasback Ring-necked still other species from before Ruddies on the river about 300 Coot Ring-billed and Herring Gulls General area - 1 Osprey Flicker calling G.c. Kinglet Still American Tree Sparrows and Juncos in the yard 1 Fox Sparrow putting on a fluty concert and kicking leaves in my yard!
