I agree it was over the top and inappropriate at a time that is so raw in
America, but I disagree with having Bill removed from this group. He is a
wealth of bird knowledge that I find helpful and interesting. Perhaps we
can just agree to keep posts here about birds only, without politics, even
humorous attempts at it.

Now it looks like huge numbers of elderly birders in tilley hats and
binoculars are amassing and ready to storm Audubon headquarters. I am
considering placing a call to the ebird administrator to have him find
those 4 billion birds. It's getting to be too much so I think I will
reading about birds and go back to following politics to find some solacethat.
