Margaret,
Yesterday eve at 5:00 on the north side of Milwaukee, I happened to be
outside to count a stream of 58 nighthawks flying north -- maybe en route
to a flying ant party? ....which would've made this a long-distance
invitation. Again: How do they know?!?!?
