We had a great Madison Audubon warbler walk at Turville Point Park this
morning, the highlight being a female SUMMER TANAGER that Quentin Yoerger
spotted down at the south end, where the path nears the lake and turns back
north. We later saw presumably the same bird farther north along the lake.
Also finally saw some Scarlet Tanagers.
Other highlights were Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Red-headed WP, and over 20 species
of warblers, including multiples of most. Those of us who had to get to work
were groaning, since things were still hopping at 8:30.
