A leucistic Barn Swallow has been reported here in Florida. I was wondering if the Horicon swallow was still there or if it has left. From the pictures it looks like they could possibly be the same bird; they are both almost completely white with a pale wash of orange to the throat. Anyone know how common this condition is in swallows? Or where birds from Wisconsin would migrate?
