With the gusty winds, I was unable to actually do a marshbird survey, so I set up another route in northwestern Outagamie County near the Embarrass River and Bear Creek. During ground-truthing points, I was treated to many FOY birds. Indigo bunting Rose-breasted grosbeak Solitary sandpiper Lesser yellowlegs Greater yellowlegs Yellow warbler Northern waterthrush Wilson's warbler (visual confirmation) Through a break in the wind I thought I had a calling least bittern and an unknown call with a grebe-like cadence. I can't wait to get back in the next nine days. Jon Motquin Freedom, Outagamie Co. #################### You received this email because you are subscribed to the Wisconsin Birding Network (Wisbirdn).
