I agree whole heartedly.  Don't know Evan, but started reading his blog and was
also moved.

Subject: [wisb] Evan's Mexico Birding Blog

After his first blog post, I was so moved I felt the need to contribute. I
have accumulated 8 copies of Kaufmann in Spanish, 2 copies of Birds of
Mexico by Bell and Howell, and 3 copies of Birdsongs of the Yucatan that I
will somehow get to one- or perhaps two- of the villages that are starting
bird clubs. I think some of you may be moved ( and compelled to act) as
well.

For those of you who have not followed Evans' excellent work this summer in
Mexico, I ask that you take 5 minutes to read some of his blog.

It is very refreshing to see a young person who has taken his love of birds
and the outdoors and paired it with a socially responsible effort to make
the world a better place- for people and wildlife!

I have known Evan for 6 or 7 years now, and it has been a privilege to see
him mature over this time.  He has shown great initiative and drive in his
few years with the birding community.  Please show your support and read
Evans blog.  Send him a message, encourage him in any way you can.  He is
meant to do great things!

Evan is a part of Birdings'  future- A little support from us could help
him play a bigger role-
