I'm pretty sure I heard an E Screech owl calling last night about 10:30, I
thought it might have been a wild animal at first. Is this species common
in Sauk County and along the Wisconsin River? Location was near the Hwy.
130 bridge in Lone Rock. If anyone knows their status in this region,
please reply! Btw, other highlights were a Whippoorwill calling near the
Sauk County forest and Kennedy Rd. the night before (June 11). Thanks and
