Hi All,
On Wednesday, a Cooper's Hawk killed a gray squirrel in our back yard patio,
under a bird feeder. He (or she) tried twice to carry it off, but it was
apparently too heavy, so he ate it right there in the snow. It took more than
two hours for him to finish the meal.
Last month, I saw what was probably the same hawk carry off a red squirrel from
the same location. This hawk makes frequent visits to our yard.
