I assure you, what's cool now gets old pretty quick. I have a coop and
sharpie playing tag-team at my feeders. Last month on a particularly
miserable rainy/windy day, three Mourning Doves were taking shelter in the
lee of a tree. I watched them for a half an hour or more when a Cooper's
swooped in and made off with one. As much as I realize it's a normal
happening in nature, I still felt bad for them...
