I was surprised and delighted to find a flock of about 25 redpolls not far from
my house in Weat Madison. They were feeding on some birch catkins. It was a
specially sweet discovery because I have just started doing some Patch birding,
which means concentrating on birds within a certain radius of my house.
Any else finding redpolls in Madison? I checked them all over to see if there
were any hoaries but not luck.
