Calling on bluff below curve at Marquette and 3rd Avenues. Nested along Grant Park's Oak Creek Parkway below last year. New yard birds today: Orange Crowned and BT Green Warblers, and the continued chump chump (is that the right description, Steve?) of Hermit Thrush all over the underbrush. The Orchard Oriole which arrived on the 25th did not show up this morning, though fed at 5:30 yesterday. No yellowish green gals here to keep him company. Also saw what appeared to be a fledgling chickadee at a neighbor's feeder. Seems very early for that since I observed two other pairs in courtship mode! Or, it was an adult sans tail?
