I birded parts of Sheridan, Warnimont and Grant Parks today. The Carolina Wren was heard-only, calling and singing infrequently on the bluff of Sheridan Park somewhere in the vicinity of the paved path that goes down to the lake. Otherwise, nothing unusual and nothing new has arrived as far as I could tell. Five species of warblers included many Yellow-rumped and Palm, 2 Ovenbirds, 2 Orange-crowned, and 1 Common Yellowthroat.
