Very moody day today with fog rolling in continuously making it difficult at
times to even see birds. However I was lucky enough to spot a huge flock of
Bonaparte Gulls off the Lake Michigan shore, gobbling up insects from the
surface. I walked a mile along the shore and saw gulls the whole way. Inland
warblers included my FOY black-throated green as well as black and white,
yellow-rumped and palm.
