Someone had asked if you can see this individual from a car parked (along
Hoffert Dr). Yes, it is possible assuming itâs not immediately next to the
shoreline as the sand drops near the lake.
This morning, the kittiwake had flown at approximately 07:35, then returned
again from the east in a different portion of beach at approximately 07:50. At
08:00, it preened, stretched, and then flew south over the Racine Harbor. As of
08:35, it was not observed at North Beach but could return.
