A BLACK-BILLED MAGPIE was seen well and photographed (!!!) by Marie Christenson in her backyard a few miles east of Grand View in Bayfield County on 5 June 2009. The bird made only a brief stay and hasn't been seen since, though no checks of adjacent areas have been made.
