Kurt Ellefeson and I went on a northern Lake Michigan shoreline tour last Friday. Lake Michigan was like glass. There was a female Barrow's goldeneye in the harbor at Algoma. In addition, we found white-winged scoters at Kewaunee at the lighthouse and at Whitefish Bay Dunes State Park. Whitefish Bay also had several flocks of long-tails ducks. We went down the bayshore on the way home. We had a flock of white-winged crossbills in Pottawotami State Park. Other than that, the usual suspects. Sorry about the delay in posting.
