A friend spotted a Barred Owl along the Wisconsin Heights Battlefield Trail
today that looks like it got tangled in brush and died. Other than being
dead, it's in decent condition and if someone with a collector's permit is
interested, they may want to gather it up. This is the trail starting at
the sign on Highway 78 south of Sauk Prairie and heading up the hill. He
says it's right by the trail.
