Iâve had three species calling lately, Eastern Screech-Owl, Great Horned,
and Barred Owl (never hear our Long-eared, everâ¦). The coyotes have been
particularly noisy lately, and that set off both the Barred and Screech
owls. Times vary, no real pattern that Iâve discerned.

A Barred Owl just called its "who cooks for you" 5 times
near the north shore of Lake Kegonsa north of Stoughton.
Is anyone else hearing that species at this time (about 8 pm)?
