Greetings, Wisbirders,
Like many others, I experienced an influx of fox sparrows over the weekend.
Yesterday, I counted seven in the backyard. Today, when I got home from
work, I counted 18. I also spotted one chipping sparrow and one swamp
sparrow. Other visitors included four red-winged blackbirds, three
grackles, a handful of juncos, and the usual goldfinches, house finches,
chickadees, and mourning doves. Everyone was hungry!

Good birding, and good luck to those digging out farther north!
