Hey everyone, I just received a report from Rob Pendergast and Daryl Tessen who said it just started to get a little more interesting at Wisconsin Point. They report that overall it has been very quiet with occasional bursts of birds, but they did have some fun ones to report. The first was an adult ARCTIC TERN seen this morning with a group of Commons from the beach at the first parking lot. They also report a dark-morph Parasitic Jaeger, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, and Rob saw a Short-eared Owl. --Chris W(Who is stuck at work this week instead of out birding at the Point) Happy Birding! --Chris W, Richland CountyTour leader Swallowtail Birding Tours swallowtailbirdingtours.comhttp://swallowtailedkite.blogspot.com/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/swallowtailphoto Interpretive Naturalist Mississippi Explorer Cruises http://mississippiexplorer.com/chris@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx "The beauty and genius of a work of art may be reconceived, though its first material expression be destroyed; a vanished harmony may yet again inspire the composer; but when the last individual of a race of living things breathes no more, another heaven and another earth must pass before such a one can be again."
