*March 21, 2018: The Montserrat Oriole*
*Presenter: Andy Cassini, Vice President of WSO*
Andy Cassini is a conservation biologist and ornithologist who traveled to
the Caribbean island of Montserrat to study the formally endangered
Montserrat Oriole. His research involved estimating the conservation
parameters for the bird, including its genetic diversity and potential for
genetic rescue using captive populations. He also modeled habitat variables
in order to better guide land management decisions on the island. Join us
for an informative presentation about a beautiful bird.
