Among the over 40 species (so far) that I've seen at our place today,
I was thrilled to have an American Bittern visiting Little Cedar
Creek, for the first time that I know of, out in back of our place
this morning.

There is a Virginia Rail out there, too, but of course I can't see
that one...and we had that here last year.
We are now up to 109 species seen in and/or over our yard in just over
a year.
