Kudos to Tom Prestby for sending me a text alert about this photo. This is not a loon at all but a juvenile Northern Gannet! Terry this is not an April fools joke is it? Gannets do show up from time to time on the Great Lakes and we are long overdue for one. Who can get out there now to see if it is still around??
