I left Shoverler's Sink at about 4:40 and the Whistling Duck had just finished feeding along the shore on the same side as the parking lot. It then flew back where I first saw it near a willow on the other side of the pond. There it perched on a large broken tree trunk, which partly blocked it from view. Good Luck.
