Today in Horicon Marsh on the south side of highway 49, before the pump house area, a First Fall Horned Grebe was feeding near the road. I feel this is a First Fall Horned Grebe because of the red/orange line from the red eye to the bill that has white on the tip. From the Sibley book, the adult becomes rusty with yellow on the head - I hope I can see the adult some day.
