I went through my photos and compied a list of the rebuilds, noting the various
features added to the rebuilds over the years. Manny, I'll need you to review
the orange ones and tell me which ones you've seen rebuilt (not in rebuild, but
actualy out on the street). This list is based on my photo collection.
The units I list as "a" units were rebuilt some time before I moved here in
December 2006;
we'll have to check each one against the list, but by the time they started
changing the seat fabric (Spring 2007) I had already photographed a good
majority of the fleet so I don't think there are too many "a"s that should be
"b"s.
I found two more units that were released from rebuild as teardrops but were
repainted as squarebacks at some point afterwards, 913 and 915. Some of the
900-series squarebacks precede those 40-footers released as squarebacks by
several months.
The squarebacks started appearing in June 2010. Squarebacks with all the
clearance lamps changed began appearing in December 2010.
Any unit rebuilt from this point on will be "e" units.
949 is on the #3 Spirit this morning. 143 is out on the 19. 273 and 278 (both
with BDO rear ads) are on the 47.
413, 499, and 501 are three units rebuilt recently that I have not yet
photographed.
