This tip is recommended for advanced users of LindowsOS.
There are a few applications in the Click-N-Run Warehouse that
require user interaction during their installation. Because of the
automated process Click-N-Run uses, this leads to a partially
configured application that can cause errors when subsequently
trying to install other Click-N-Run applications. The symptoms of
this are getting an error message that reads:
"Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)" and having an
inordinate amount of subsequent failed Click-N-Runs.
If you've experienced this, the following should produce better
results until a long-term solution is in place:
1) Click on the "Launch" button (usually in the lower left-hand
corner)
2) Select the "Run Command..."
3) Type in "Konsole" and select [Enter]
4) At the prompt type: apt-get -o Dir::Etc::sourcelist="/root/.los-
apt-get/deps/apt/los-sources.list" -o Dir::State::lists=/root/.los-
apt-get/deps/lists remove workman
5) Close Konsole by typing "exit"
6) Try Click-N-Run again. If you continue experiencing
difficulties, please notify support at http://support.lindows.com.
