Thanks Jim

Sure you can we have 8 W2K servers in an NT 4 domain. Windows 2000 can be
member servers in NT 4.0 domains. Just do not enable Active Directory until
you have a Windows 2000 AD PDC and DNS set up.

Subject: [windows2000] Windows 2000 Server in NT4.0 domain

Hi List,

I am sure this question has been asked previously. However, I would like to
know if it is possible to
install a Windows 2000 Server into an existing NT4.0 domain? Windows 2000
hasn't quite reached
these parts yet, let alone Windows 2003.

Many thanks

TJ
