You can back up exchange, SQL Server, and everything else with plain old
NTbackup which is made by Veritas.

I backup everything here with NTBackup for Windows 2000. Exchange 2000, SQL
Server, MySQL, and all files.

All it takes is a little setup and planning and after that you don't have to
touch it.

Subject: [windows2000] Upgrading our backup software

We have an older version of Veritas' Backup Exec, which was installed by the
previous system administrator. We will be purchasing a new version, which
should better serve our needs and backup our SQL Server 2000 database as
well as Exchange 2000.

My question is, should we uninstall the old version and install the new one?
Or is it better to install over the top of the old one?

Rod
