[windows2000] Re: Uninstall Information

I always delete those after a while, until I see that the patch didn't do
anything bad.
 
More unregularly (once every 2nd month or so) I use Spybot S&D and run the
tool called System Internals (I think it's called) and let it scan the
registry and remove the pointers to the removed uninstall-folders.

Is it ever safe to delete uninstall information on a Windows 2000 server? Some
of them date back to 2003.
 
All those folders in the c:\winnt folder with names like
$NTUniunstallKBxxxxxx$
