My 2 cents: XP professional is certainly made for professional/business users. Also, it is rather annoying if a 3rd party vendor needs to keep up between Windows 2K and XP, but NT 4 came out in '96, so I think they've had plenty of time. Just my thoughts. I think XP and more importantly, 2K is a necessary upgrade from NT and vendors should definitely support a move to 2K with their products. I thought XP was not intended for the business user.. Although Microsoft would love to see everyone "upgrade" to the latest = whatever as soon as it comes out, it is just not possible.. I have some = applications that still require NT 4.0 to run!! 3rd party vendors just = can't keep up. > -----Original Message----- > From: Sullivan, Glenn [mailto:GSullivan@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Wednesday, August 07, 2002 1:46 PM > To: 'windows2000@xxxxxxxxxxxxx' > Subject: [windows2000] Re: Adding TS to W2K Pro. >=20 >=20 >=20 > Upgrade to WinXP. >=20 <SNIP> >=20 This Weeks Sponsor ================================== CPU seNTinel by OneApp Definitive Control over Individual Applications CPU utilization http://www.oneapp.co.uk/site/sentinel ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm This Weeks Sponsor ================================== CPU seNTinel by OneApp Definitive Control over Individual Applications CPU utilization http://www.oneapp.co.uk/site/sentinel ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm -- Binary/unsupported file stripped by Ecartis -- -- Type: application/ms-tnef -- File: winmail.dat This Weeks Sponsor ================================== CPU seNTinel by OneApp Definitive Control over Individual Applications CPU utilization http://www.oneapp.co.uk/site/sentinel ================================== To Unsubscribe, set digest or vacation mode or view archives use the below link. http://thethin.net/win2000list.cfm
