[windows2000] SUS Server

Hi
Anyone else having problems with SUS server? The server itself runs okay -
downloads updates and allows me to approve them. It's at the client end we
have a problem.
I've tried using a GPO and whilst the logs on the SUS server show PCs
connecting, the PCs themselves seem to get their updates direct from the MS
site (at least that's what the PC logs say).
The other thing that is confusing is that the GPO specifies option 4-
download and install automatically at 13:00 each day. However, the PCs
actually start downloading as soon as they are turned on and prompt the user
for installation.
I've tried using registry settings instead of a GPO and the same thing seems
to happen.
Any ideas anyone?
