Last time I checked, you had to have a client license for EVERY user connecting to SQL - Richard

The most expensive option (whatever that turns out to be) will be the one you need. I've a feeling you need to buy a cut diamond with every MSSQL CAL on TS nowadays.

Subject: [windows2000] SQL CAL Purchase

Does anyone know the answer to this:

I am going to be upgrading my SQL 7 server to SQL 2005.

90% of my users are terminal server users.

Can I buy one "Per Device" SQL CAL for each of the terminal servers, and
everyone on that server can connect? That doesn't seem right, but all
the users are on the same "Device"...

TIA,
