Subject: [windows2000] Redirected Folders missing desktop icons

I am consultant to a large-ish organization with about 80 users most running XP (a few older 2000 machines are still in use) with a 2003 server as the main file/print server. There are roaming profiles for everyone and redirected folders for Desktop/My Docs/Application Data, and a few users consistently have problems with all of their desktop icons being missing.

It appears that they are not synching properly against the network. Sometimes, there is the little blue "synchronize" icon in the task bar, but not always. I'm stumped. Networking is very solid, the server is very solid, permissions are set correctly, but one user in particular has this happen to her all the time. Logging off and on again fixes it until the next time.

I googled around and found nothing that was very helpful. Any thoughts on this?

Thanks
