Not having time herself to secure her personal data ....? You will need to
better educate her in regards to this.

Go with the cd then. She could also start the download process before she
goes to bed and it is done in the morning when she wakes up (if she sleeps
long enough though - SP1 is pretty big).

My sister in law has a computer running Windows XP that I made for her.  She
has dial up internet access and has never patched the computer in the time
she has had it.

Is there any convenient way that anyone knows of to download all the
updates?  I want to make her a CD that she can run to get things updated.
She doesn't have the time to wait and download it all from Microsoft.
