Yes, but why does it happen at all? I've seen this a couple of
times, but programs and filetypes varies, ie it's not consistent.

Subject: [windows2000] OT: Annoying Office 2003 icon question

Hey,

For the past couple of days, if I go into the My Documents folder,
none of my Office documents has an icon. There is just the icon
that shows as if there were no associated app. I can't seem to
change this. If I double click on the doc, the appropriate app
starts up.

Any ideas on how to remedy this?
