I think the system administrator created your SERVICE and NETWORK
groups. We do not have those groups in our Active Directory. SYSTEM is
where our Group Policy is stored.
Hope this helps

Subject: [windows2000] Looking for a group term

Can anyone tell me what the term is for groups like SERVICE, NETWORK,
SYSTEM, etc? (I thought SYSTEM was more of a user account than a group,
but
it has the group icon...) Are these security groups? And if so, what
is
the term for groups like Administrators, Guests, Backup Operators?

Thanks,

Ray at work
